Those donations come in many forms, including grants intended to support highly targeted objectives or specific projects, donated materials & supplies, volunteer hours, discounted service fees, in-kind donations, and direct financial contributions.

We are extremely frugal with our funds and we are able to accomplish more work with less money than most non-profit organizations. Since the vast majority of our work is performed by volunteers who accept no payment for the hours they work, including the members of our Board of Directors, we are able to leverage more than $4,000 of market value out of every $1,000 dollars that we spend. At the national level, Rebuilding Together has been awarded a 4 Star (exceptional) rating from Charity Navigator, which means that we "exceed industry standards and outperform most charities in our cause."

Your donation to Rebuilding Together Howard County will offer direct, as well as, indirect assistance - improving the health, safety, and emotional well-being of Howard County residents, while reducing the costs of government and other publicly funded assistance programs.

Tools & Materials Donations

Many manufacturers or local stores donate materials for our volunteer teams or our skilled volunteer tradesman to use in home repairs. These materials allow Rebuilding Together to leverage the efforts of our volunteers and skilled tradesmen to make a substantial difference in the quality of life for the homeowners we serve. Monetary Contributions

Rebuilding Together Howard County is a 501(c)(3) organization supported by individual, organizational and corporate monetary donations. Donations to Rebuilding Together Howard County are tax-deductible. Your monetary contributions assist us in purchasing building materials and tools not provided by donations.
