about Rebuilding Together

Rebuilding Together * Howard County is a volunteer organization that works in partnership with the community to address the needs of low-income homeowners, primarily the elderly, disabled, and families with children. RTHC is committed to helping Howard County residents who have worked hard to own their own homes but whose failing health or fixed income does not allow them to cover the extraordinary costs of home repair.

RTHC performs home repairs and home modifications such as the installation of wheelchair ramps and grab bars to improve safety and accessibility. Where necessary, we provide referral to social service providers to address other issues the homeowner is experiencing. All services are provided free of charge to eligible homeowners.

our mission

The mission of Rebuilding Together * Howard County is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, particularly those who are elderly and disabled and families with children, live in warmth, safety and independence.
